God’s heart is for women from every background, age, and season of life to know that they are valued and precious, lovingly created by Him with great purpose.

Hi Gals!

Thanks for stopping by our Divine Women page! I'm so excited about all the ways that we, as women, can encourage and inspire each other to embrace our divine design! We have a wonderful team of women who are committed to creating opportunities for ministry and mission. We love to gather and connect, allowing space for God to minister to us, and reach out into our community and world with God's love.

We invite you to be part of what God is doing, as one of His Divine Women!

- Beth Fleming

Each year, we host over 700 women at our Women's Conference. We are excited to have you and your friends for Divine on June 1 & 2, 2018!

God is calling each one of us to be with Him. We are invited as His daughters to experience His love and be in His presence. There we find all that we need: acceptance, forgiveness, mercy, grace, strength, and compassion.

A mentor is someone who teaches or gives help and advice to a less experienced and sometimes younger person. Mentoring can address all aspects of life from marriage, parenting, life skills, leadership, work related skills, and most importantly spiritual growth.

Our vision: women teaching and sharing what they have learned with other women so that our lives would reflect God's love.
Our mission: Women walking side by side with each other, growing in all aspects of life, especially in the wisdom and knowledge of Jesus.

Divine Weekly is part of our 10-week Life Group semesters which run each year beginning in September and January. Join Beth and the team on Thursday mornings from 9:15-11:15am for worship, yummy food, conversation, support, making new friends, and an inspiring message! Childcare is provided (depending on space availability).

Being Led by the Spirit

Our theme for this semester is “Being led by the Spirit”. John 16:7 “However, I’m telling you the truth. It’s for your advantage that I’m going away because if I don’t go away, the Helper won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.” This Divine Weekly session we will explore who this Helper is and why Jesus said it’s to our advantage that He should come. We will be looking at the character and power of the third person of the Godhead – the Holy Spirit and how to develop a relationship with Him.

Divine Desserts

This year we had the pleasure of hosting over 300 women at our Divine Desserts Night! Our team of hostesses each set a unique table using their own dishes and decorations, and they were absolutely stunning. Our guests enjoyed wandering around to admire the tables before our program began.

We enjoyed an assortment of desserts from La Patisserie along with fresh fruits, and of course it wouldn’t be a Divine event without door prizes!

Rachel and Alysia Jantzi shared a fun and entertaining food presentation followed by a medley of Christmas songs by Jeremy Doorten to get us in the spirit of the season. Heidi wrapped up the evening with a few thoughts and prayer to inspire us as we prepare for the season.

Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the evening with us!

Divine Girl Night

In October, we hosted our annual Divine Girl Night. We invite moms and daughters (Grade 5-9) for a fun night out. We enjoyed some time together, and also had separate sessions for the moms and daughters. It was a beautiful night affirming each girl in her love language and encouraging the moms as they raise pre-teen girls. We had some great food, enjoyed a short program, and the girls made necklaces to take home!

We can do something extraordinary by doing something with love – just one day at a time.

Every year, we take $2 from each Divine registration and put it towards helping a special cause that relates to women specifically. This year, we were excited to be partnering with Watoto's Living Hope program that restores dignity to vulnerable women in Africa.

Sunday Luncheons: We open our home 2 Sundays per month after the 11:00 am service to provide a luncheon for Slavic speaking immigrants. We always welcome others to join us in visiting, speaking English, and blessing these wonderful women!

Blessing Brunches: These events happen 1 time per month, and are always at different times, and in various locations. For these brunches, we invite 1 Slavic speaking immigrant woman and several Canadians who come and embrace her with love. We eat brunch, talk with her, and pray for the newcomer.

For the third year in a row, we took a Divine Women team to Cuba. They hosted two 1-day women's conferences to bless over 200 ladies in ministry. The women who came had never experienced this type of event and were so encouraged! Continue to pray for these women as they touch their communities!

Our Grand Valley prison team supports the women in the prison through a variety of activities and chapel services. Also, our annual Divine Women's Conference puts together gifts bags for the women at GVI to demonstrate God’s unfailing love for them.
