GRAND VALLEY INSTITUTION FOR WOMEN
Be a part of supporting the women in the prison through a variety of activities and bi-monthly services. Regular involvement is bi-monthly. The team offers a worship experience during a scheduled chapel time on Sunday afternoons.
KIDZONE URBAN MINISTRIES
Join our growing team for weekly after-school programs Tuesdays and Thursdays between 3 and 4pm. Become part of our Viz Team by visiting the communities of Chicopee and Victoria Hills to connect with the children and their families. You can also make yourself available to participate in various community service projects this fall. We are always looking for committed people of all ages to share the love of Jesus in these communities.
RAY OF HOPE COMMUNITY CENTRE
Koinonia partners with Ray of Hope on a monthly basis, helping the afternoon service run smoothly on the 3rd Sunday of every month. We have a connection team that prays for the service and serves those in attendance. Our worship team provides worship on alternating months, our kitchen team prepares and serves a meal, and our security team helps provide a safe environment. There are also many other ways you can get involved on a personal level with this amazing organization.
Sunnyside Home is an accredited facility providing different levels of care for people who require assistance with the activities of daily living. Our team has the privilege of running services on the 3rd Sunday of every month. We’d love to have you be a part of this team!
SVET MINISTRY - REACHING OUT TO NEW IMMIGRANTS IN OUR AREA
One-on-one English conversations: We would love to pair up a Slavic-speaking newcomer with someone who speaks English in order to help them become fluent in the English language.
Sunday Luncheon: 2 Sundays per month after the 11am service (at leader’s home) providing lunch for Slavic-speaking immigrants. Opportunity to join us in visiting, speaking English, and blessing these wonderful women!
Blessing Brunch: Once a month, at different times, in various locations. We extend an invitation to one specific Slavic-speaking immigrant newcomer. This is an opportunity to come and embrace her with love - eating, talking, and praying with her.
