We are half way through our Winter Semester of Divine Women Weekly! Our theme this session is "Walking with God, Abiding in His Love". Beth, Shirley, and Maria-Esther have each brought inspiring teaching from God's Word about abiding in His love by obeying His commands. (Click on a message title below to listen). Each week, we enjoy a time of worship, and discussion around our tables as we eat some delicious breakfast snacks.
We have lots of room for more ladies to join us (although childcare is full)! Even if you can only drop by for one Thursday morning, we'd love to connect with you! Divine Women Weekly takes place in the Impact Centre from 9-11am on Thursday mornings during our Life Group Semester.
"Christmas really is a wonderful time of year. Our thoughts turn to God’s amazing plan of salvation through His Son, born of a virgin in a humble stable. I love to read and hear the story over and over as it recounts the many prophesies that were fulfilled at His birth. This Christmas season, we want to make this amazing story of hope, peace, and joy come alive throughout each of our services - it will be “A Storytime Christmas”!
We have lots of ways to practice giving this year as we support our church family through Christmas Blessing and our solo parents and KiDZONE families through the Shining Star banquet, food and presents. The joy of cheerful giving will enable us to express God’s love in a real, tangible way.
Be sure to bring a friend or neighbour to our free “Christmas in Concert” performances on Dec. 17 & 18 for a festive start to the season. Plan on attending one of our two Christmas Eve services this year as we celebrate together with friends and family.
Thanks for “Doing a Great Work” with us this year! We look forward to all that 2012 will bring as we continue to build His House together.

Our fall semester of Divine Women Weekly is off to a great start! Our theme this session is "Doing a Great Work: In Deed & In Truth", and last week Beth brought a message focused on expressing love with no strings attached. We enjoyed a time of worship, and discussion around our tables as we ate some delicious breakfast snacks.

We had a fantastic weekend at SHINE: DIVINE 2011 this year! We filled the house with over 800 women, had amazing times of worship, received powerful inspiration from the Word, and had a blast enjoying each other’s company. A few highlights include the Divine Desserts, being serenaded with "You Light Up My Life", incredible life-changing stories by real-life women, and of course the beautiful dance show! At the end of the weekend, we left feeling refreshed and encouraged and ready to bring out the God-Colours in the world!
A big thanks to Jeanie Vander Klok, our keynote speaker, who brought lots of insight and wisdom on how to SHINE in our world, and to Debra Joseph from FAB (Favourite Accessory Boutique) who gave us some great tips on the latest trends in accessories. Also, thanks to everyone who volunteered during the course of the weekend - we could not have done it without you.

Beth Fleming and her husband Steve are the founders of Koinonia Christian Fellowship in Bloomingdale, Ontario, where they have been the senior pastors for nearly 24 years. They reside in Kitchener-Waterloo with their children Kathryn, Bryce and Kaitlyn.
With her passion for knowing and living God’s Word, Beth has taken “her girls” in the house on a journey of faith, developing in them healthy relationships and strong godly character. By helping women discover their true value in God’s eyes, she infuses their spiritual walk with purpose so that they can effectively touch and influence the people in their world with confidence.
